After a magnificent 2023, with incredible success in all of the climbs and treks run during the Spring and Autumn seasons in Nepal, including guiding the 1st Australian team to the true summit of Manaslu (8163m), with the youngest Australian and oldest climber in the world as part of our team, Everest One are excitedly waiting to kick-start 2024.

In fact, we saw 100% success during Autumn across all expeditions and treks, and an impressive 95% during Spring, as a result of careful planning and strategising, flexibility, committed clients, professional guides backed with a strong focus on safety, quality inclusions and extensive expertise in the high-altitude arena.

Everest One are the only Australian company involved in running expeditions above 8000m but also offer climbs of lower peaks including introductory climbs and treks.

With spectacular adventures scheduled throughout the year, including significant climbs of Mt Everest, Ama Dablam and Manaslu, and a number of treks to Everest Base Camp, we are also returning to Africa for our popular climb of Kilimanjaro, where we have already assisted more than 100 climbers in reaching the summit.

He has guided in all corners of the globe with over 30 high altitude climbs in the Himalaya's including Mt Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), Manaslu True Summit (8163m), Cho Oyu (8200m), Baruntse (7129m) and Ama Dablam (6812m), along with 10 climbs of Mera Peak (6476m), 6 climbs of Lobuche East and 4 of Island Peak and numerous other 6000m+ climbs, along with 14 summits of Mt Kilimanjaro (5895m) and two successful climbs of Aconcagua (6960m), the highest mountain in South America.

He is an expert at managing clients in high altitude environments which has resulted in the highest success rates on both climbs and treks he leads. He is experienced in handling logistics, decision making, assessing risk whilst maintaining a harmonious team environment.

Climbing Kilimanjaro was one of the proudest moments of my life. I had just turned 50 during the previous year, so to achieve a physical challenge like this was an amazing boost for my self confidence.
As a public speaker, self confidence is your life blood. Confidence helps you to present your topic and build rapport with an audience.
Unfortunately, I had been hit by many personal challenges in a 5 year period, and in the process, there was a season where my confidence had reached rock bottom. I questioned my value as an individual and wondered what the future would look like.
I’m happy to say now that I’ve never felt more empowered. I had the privilege of speaking at about 15 events directly after our climb and I have never enjoyed myself more.
