Everest One are also introducing additional climbs on the Machame Route between January–March and June–October 2026, which are the optimal seasons on the mountain. We will add extra days to the itinerary and these trips can be joined on a regular schedule to allow greater flexibility with your available dates. There are no minimum numbers on these trips, and once you book, the trip is guaranteed to run.
Our itineraries typically run for 9 days on the mountain via Lemosho, with an additional acclimatisation day at our private Kosovo camp, which is higher than the traditional Base Camp of Barafu, giving you a stronger chance of summit success.
The Rongai Route runs for 8 days whilst the Machame trip lasts 7 days.

The summit push is the most challenging part of the trek, and can vary in start times to reach Uhuru Peak. Expect cold temperatures, high winds, and long hours, but the reward is standing on Africa’s highest point.
For the Lemosho climb, we have the flexibility to start the climb at around 6.00am, aiming to reach the summit around midday. This is possible as we have the additional day, allowing us to climb during the daytime, which is considerably more comfortable with very few climbers on the summit once you reach the top.
The Rongai and Machame routes require an earlier start time, generally around midnight to allow enough time to reach the summit, return to your Base Camp, pack up and then continue with a further descent.
